this mean for libraries? More importantly, what exactly is the cloud and what
are the practical uses that can be applied to improve our own work flow as well

This webinar, given by Princeton Public Library’s Scott Sanicki, will look at
several aspects of cloud computing.

HRLC provides resources, services, expertise and continuing education programs to 975 member libraries in a seven-county region in northern New Jersey. She has a Certificate in Training from the New Jersey Department of Personnel and co-coordinated the New Jersey Train-the-Trainers Program from 2001 - 2005. Joanne was the New Jersey Library Association’s 2007 Librarian of the Year.

story...
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Pictures are everywhere;
we see pictures of people in ads, magazines, and business websites, but
not very often on library websites.
Including
photos from library events and of the library staff helps give the
library a more human feel.
Flickr is an online photo-sharing site that can help you store
your library images and publish them to your site. This workshop will
walk you through signing up for Flickr, uploading images, managing
images with sets and collections, tagging images, mapping your photos
and much more.
By the end of this session you’ll be ready to sign up for a Flickr
account for you library and start sharing pictures.
