The South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative invites proposals from SJRLC member public libraries to serve as the demonstration library for the SJRLC A+ Teen Space Demonstration Project
Borrowing ideas from the very successful ImaginOn facility at the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County (NC), the South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative will match Transformation Grant funds from the New Jersey State Library and a selected SJRLC member library to replicate aspects of these services in Southern NJ and to serve as a model for other New Jersey Libraries.
Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for teens that responds to their likes and needs as digital natives in the 21st century through an incubator teen space project.
You are invited to review our RFP and to submit a proposal no later than November 14, 2008. PDF and Microsoft Word versions of the RFP and Application are available at http://www.sjrlc.org/teenspace.
